Home to an agrarian and dairy-based society within 50 km from the city of Gurgaon, the village lives in constant threat of urbanization that'll create havoc in livelihoods and practices. The houses, which are mostly self-built in vernacular style, dedicate an appreciable amount of space for cattle, whom they honor and respect.
